Vehicle & Modifications: 2023 GMC Denali 4x4; Hand Controls, ANT Lift (installation in progress) 

After surviving multiple IED blasts in Afghanistan, Matt Spang faced a long road of recovery and adaptation. Now a devoted husband, father, and advocate for disabled veterans, Matt stays active as a nationally ranked golfer, sled hockey player, and wheelchair basketball athlete. FMF’s support ensures Matt and his family can travel safely, enabling him to balance sports, family life, and his work with fellow veterans. The advanced vehicle modifications, to be installed in June 2025, will further enhance his independence.
